We have a new name! At our January 21-22, 2015 Broadband and Social Justice Summit, we announced that effective January 21, 2015, the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council became the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC).
his change aligns our name with our goals and mission and our future in an increasingly diverse digital economy. So while our name will change, our acronym, like our mission and our commitment to diversity and inclusion, in media, telecommunications, and technology will stay the same!
