MMTC Conference Panel Highlight: ‘Kingonomics’ Author Rodney Sampson and Former FCC Chairman Michael Powell at Access to Capital Awards Luncheon

On July 16th, from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm, leaders in government and finance will discuss opportunities for technology investment and the role of MWBEs in bridging the wealth gap during the “Access to Capital Awards Luncheon: Bridging the Wealth Gap through Technology Investment” at MMTC’s 13th Annual Access to Capital and Telecom Policy Conference.

A keynote address will be delivered by Rodney Sampson, driven serial entrepreneur, managing partner of the Legacy Opportunity Fund, and author of “Kingonomics: Twelve Innovative Currencies for Transforming Your Busines and Your Life Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”

MMTC will also present its highest awards to those who have made exceptional contributions to diversity and inclusion in the media and telecom industries, including the Corporate Diversity Leadership Award to the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, accepted by NCTA President and CEO and Former FCC Chairman Michael Powell; and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award to Asian American Broadcasting Co-Founders Kongsue and Xeng Xiong.
